Well today was interesting. Went to Pearland Vineyard this morning. Afterwards we planned on meeting Kurt and Lauren for lunch at Panera Bread on 518. 3 intersections before Panera Bread, we were in an accident. A teenage boy was trying to make the light behind us and ran into the back left side of my Jeep. My bumper got pretty messed up and our back left tire went flat. He was going about 30 mph, so it wasn't a huge impact...but enough to shake us up for a minute. William, the teenager, was a really nice guy. So was his grandfather, who came up to the accident to check on his grandson. They both helped Tim change the tire, at the time we didn't know if the Jeep would even run. But ya know God is so good, He really does watch over his children. We were missing a key tool in changing a Jeep tire, I guess only Jeeps have this wrench or bar (you can tell I don't know much about cars). Well, it just so happens that William's grandfather pulled up in a Jeep Wrangler and had the needed tool to get our car up and running. Isn't that great?! And the Jeep did end up running, so we didn't need to get a tow truck. We missed out on lunch with the Attaway's, but we eventually made it to Panera. They didn't have the sandwich I always get, then I went to fill up my drink with Diet Caffeine Free Pepsi and it was out. I opted for tea and went to get a Sweet'n'Low, but they didn't have any. When I got my food, they gave me the wrong turkey sandwich! HAHAHA...what a day! Nall Family Car Issues: November '07- Mercedes' Honda Civic totaled, 2 hospital visits, lawsuit still in progress. September '08- Tim's Dodge Ram stolen, never found. November '08- Mercedes' Jeep hit, body work needed. I see a pattern, I think we will sell our car and ride bicycles from now on. Buckle Up! |
